A wedding will always be a major operation and these days, even a small wedding can get out of hand and can cost thousands. It is easy to get caught up in this weeks fads and to try to do everything you see on tv. Well, if you are going down that route, why go the whole hog and employ a wedding consultant.
It may not seem logical to add another expense to the list, but have you considered that it could save you money in the long run? The input into the artistic side can be valuable, but what about all that boring detail? Listing the items that need to be taken care of to put a wedding together can be overwhelming.

Working through her checklist, she can agree each item with you and then you can safely let her take care of everything. Nothing will be left out and it will all be initiated at the right time so that it all works out on the day.
However, the scope of the wedding planning service is flexible, with the level of involvement being reflected in the cost. Obviously handng over all the stress to somebody else would be great, but also the most expensive option. The couple can decide what degree of involvement the consultant will have.
There may be some elements of the planning where you would like to take a more hands on approach. Maybe you have friends in catering who would help to arrange that aspect of the event. You may be able to do most of the practical tasks and just use your consultant for creative input, choosing a theme, planning decorations etc.
