So what do I HAVE to include in this wedding budget fo them to give me a quote?
I know I can ask them, but in case I can shave off a few bucks without them knowing…the better!

I would only include the things that they are dealing with. They probably won’t go with you to pick out a dress…so don’t include that. I wouldn’t include anything extra like tips or hotel or clothing or gifts unless the wedding planner assisted you with those things.

When they refer to your budget, they’re referring to everything directly involved with the wedding. I’d omit the extra hotel night, party dresses, gifts, and tips. But your wedding dress, the vendors, venue, catering, etc should be included.
Good luck! :o)

I wouldn’t include the hotel, gifts, or any of those extra-type things. Just include the venues, meal, decor, cakes, attire, and all the necessities. That’s my oppinion anyway, but not too sure if that helps any!

For us it’s this list:
Reception:
Venue
Food
Alchohol
Cake
DJ
Centerpieces
Place Tags
Gratuities
Tax
(Luckily all except the DJ, Center Pieces, and Place Tags were included in the reception hall.)
Ceremony:
Church or Location (Donation?)
Officiant Fee (if any)
Wedding Dress
Groom’s Tux
Other Items:
Save the date cards
Invitations
RSVP Cards
That’s pretty much it…
